Relations

Everything finds its edge, even fingernails, to cleanse the garlic.
(Translation of an ancient Ligurian proverb)

…and Seven!

Welcome to the Seventh Season of Network Museum!
Twenty years ago, in the autumn of 2005, we began shaping our most ambitious dream: to understand the relationship between things and knowledge, between the museum system and its people, between culture and community.
The reasons and novelties of this new season are explored in the editorial titled “7”, as we prepare to celebrate this important milestone throughout 2026!

Why Don’t You Speak?

Technology advances like a siege, leaving little time to grasp its potential.

The Sound of Museums

What sound does a museum make? What taste does it have? What are its surfaces like, and what scent fills its halls?

San Marino Docet

A successful reorganization process, born from shared awareness.

Network Museum LAB

There is only one path to awareness of a role: the one walked together.

There is only one path to awareness of a role: the one walked together. The seventh season relaunches the Network Museum LAB project with new proposals and new modes of interaction and sharing. All in the spirit of deeper awareness of what it means to “make” culture, and respect for the public—the true subject—toward whom every effort must be directed, to make culture a real tool for individual, collective, and species-wide growth.

Network Museum Work

“When I grow up, I want to be a statue!”.

How many times have we seen students’ eyes light up when asking about our work? What is museum work really like—and the broader cultural landscape, from schools to theaters? What purpose does it serve, beyond putting food on the table? Talking about it, with no ulterior motives, would be a true novelty. Network Museum Work wants to keep doing just that—with you.
